Letters and parcels

SENDING LETTERS AND PARCELS

To post letters or parcels at AAU CPH, you can make use of the outbox in your department. The facility supporters will take care of franking your letter. Post is collected once a day by the facility supporters between the hours of 13:00 and 14:30.


DELIVERY OF POST

Post is delivered once a day either in a pigeonhole or to the department’s secretary.
 

ORDINARY LETTERS, QUICK DELIVERY LETTERS, AND RECOMMENDED LETTERS

As a general rule, your letter will be sent as an ordinary letter. Note that it may take several days to arrive. If it is absolutely necessary to send a quick delivery letter or a recommended letter, you must deliver it in person to Facility Support on the ground floor of Building A (ACM 15). 


PARCELS

The same rules apply for parcels as for ordinary post. The facility supporters will not wrap parcels on your behalf, but if you require assistance with this please feel free to contact Campus Services CPH at drift.service@cph.aau.dk.

When sending unusually large parcels or very fragile items, it is recommended that you yourself find another postal carrier. 


Courier service

It is possible to send freight through DSV courier service. You can send documents, ordinary packages, insured packages, pallets and wooden boxes. Furthermore, you can also send special goods such as large packages, dangerous and hazardous goods, biological samples, contagious material, livestock and living animals, dry ice etc. by further defined UN categories.

Create an account

In order to use DSV courier services, you or your institute must first create an account in their online booking system. Fill out the green fields in this table and send it to indkoebsenheden@adm.aau.dk. Once your account is created, DSV will send you your login information.
