Manufakturet facilitates laboratory activities for programmes belonging to the Study Board of Media Technology.
Starting in 2019, the lab’s facilities have been in a process of augmentation in order to provide rapid prototyping and modelling capabilities, whilst continuing to provide electronics tools, technical support, and a broad supply of embeddable programmable platforms, associated sensors and other electronic components.
Students from any degree programme belonging to the Study Board of Media Technology can use Manufakturet provided they have attended the lab’s introduction course in the use of lab instruments, soldering and components.
Equipment and facilities
The main laboratory has ten instrument stations with dual power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi meters, hand tools and soldering stations.
A range of small electronics components is freely available to all visitors.
Programmable boards, sensors, actuators and associated components are available on request.
An Epilog Fusion M2 laser cutter and Ultimaker 3 printers are available for use by appointment providing the appropriate in-lab introduction course has been attended.
Manufakturet also houses and manages the equipment booking system for Medialogy students and staff.
