Apply for study programme at Aalborg University Copenhagen
At Aalborg University Copenhagen international students can choose to study either as an exchange or Erasmus student for one or two semesters, or as a degree student pursuing a full degree from Aalborg University.
Exchange Students are students eligible for admission to Aalborg University if their home university has a bilateral exchange agreement with Aalborg University. The International Office at your home university can supply information on whether your university has an agreement with Aalborg University.
Erasmus Students are students eligible for admission to Aalborg University if their home university has an exchange agreement with Aalborg University within the framework of the Socrates/Erasmus programme. The International Office at your home university can supply information on whether your university has an agreement with Aalborg University.
Degree Students are students wishing to pursue a full degree from Aalborg University.

Please note, in order to provide a better service, AAU has introduced an application fee for full degree students outside EU/EEA. The application fee is 105 EUR (780 DKK) per applicant.

If you want to apply for admission to one of the three complete bachelor programmes (from first semester) IT, Communication and New Media; Medialogy; Sustaniable Biotechnology; you MUST apply for admission via the Coordinated Enrolment System (KOT).

Deadlines
For applicants requiring visa:
- 15 March when applying for the September intake
- 15 August when applying for the February intake
Deadlines for applicants with EU/EEA citizenship and applicants from partner/co-operating institutions:
- 1 May when applying for the September intake
- 1 October when applying for the February intake
Tuition
EU and EEA citizens do not have to pay tuition for their studies at AAU-Cph. Find more information about tuition here.
